Tengo la ambición de una hormiga

The essence of TENGO LA AMBICIÓN DE UNA HORMIGA lies in the contrast between monumentality and intimacy. The large choirs that traditionally fill the stage of Madrid's Teatro de la Zarzuela, accompanied by majestic orchestras, embody the sonic and visual grandeur that defines this historic theatre.

In this work, however, that vastness is confronted by the presence of a single body on stage: a solitary dancer. Like a tiny ant facing the immensity of the theatrical space, her dance enters into dialogue with the monumentality of the theatre, transforming solitude into a powerful act of presence.
