LA DECLAMACIÓN MUDA

​LA DECLAMACIÓN MUDA explores the intimate rhythm of breathing as the origin of movement and the source of a musicality continuously renewed with every inhalation and exhalation. Breath emerges as the first phenomenon after silence, revealing the profound connection between the human breath and the air.

As Gaston Bachelard writes in Air and Dreams: An Essay on the Imagination of Movement (1958):

 

"The wind is to the world what breath is to humankind: the manifestation of the expansion of infinite things. It carries the intimate being both near and far, allowing it to participate in every place of the universe."

​

Throughout this journey, the dream of flight gradually emerges—the desire to fly. Flight is understood as a complex process of sublimation, rooted in humanity's earliest aerial imaginings. The first being capable of flight is the dreamer, who, like the moving body, inhabits an imaginary or illusory state. The bird becomes a metaphor for the sublimation of oneiric flight.
