Upcoming workshops

These creative laboratories propose theoretical-practical tools to explore the relationship between thought and movement through the poetic and technical image, using improvisation to generate new ways of moving, composing and stimulating creativity.

Niobe. Classroom of the arts of the body. University of León (2022)

In this case, the creative laboratory will consist of interpreting the state of transit and transformation that underlies the myth of Níobe, approached from different points of view through the written and oral expression of guided meditations that relate geological and physiological processes. The tragedy will be approached, rescuing death, petrification and fertility from the myth from different points of view, composing a fragmented and multifaceted view of the myth.

Niobe.

The silent declamation. Contemporary dance classroom. University of Alicante (2019)

This workshop is aimed at exploring, investigating and developing, breathing as the origin of movement and its effect on the body. We will use the breath as the first phenomenon after silence, intimately experiencing the rapprochement between the breath and the air, through exercises around the breath, which seek to connect the depth of the intimate being, with the aerial and moving being. We will create an imaginary danced journey, an itinerary to connect with our intimate and deep being through the suggestions of the air.

"The wind is for the world, what the breath is for man, a manifestation of" the expansion of infinite things ", they carry the intimate being far and near, making it participate in all places of the universe" (Gaston Bachelard)

Touching. Carta Pared Room (2018)

In this workshop we will become aware of our corporeity through the sense of touch. We will create an imaginary journey, an itinerary through the corporal territories awakening the sensitivity of the skin and seeing through its pores.  We will explore our own body  in contact with the matter that surrounds us, establishing relationships of reciprocity and dependence with the other / os, be it a support or a body. We will work introspectively at first to touch ourselves inside and then  work in an extrospective way, opening one's gaze to the outside and thus being able to touch the space. From here, we will improvise and orally share the experience with the others, who will accompany us, guide and observe us on occasions.
